Our Approach to Pricing
At Meuniers Automotive, our policy for pricing used-cars is simple and transparent. We set our prices by averaging the online values found at CARFAX, Kelly Blue Book and NADA. We do this because it seems fair, it seems simple and it makes it easier for the buyer to trust the price that is being asked. We want to avoid the back and forth haggling that can often come with buying used (and new) cars. We want the transaction to seem right for both parties and this is the best idea we came up with to achieve that goal.
We most often buy used cars from the Southern Auto Auction (SAA) in Windsor Locks, CT. We have found their cars to have less rust (CT winters) and the supply is amazing. Nate Marcotte is heading up our used car department. Before selling cars for us Nate spent three years at Gateway Motors in their used car department.
